Happy father’s day from the ‘screwed up’ Ben Sasse

Ben Sasse sends his Father’s Day wishes to the “flawed fathers” who “screwed up” — a phrase he uses about 200 million times here — and couldn’t always be there for their kids. I’m going to be there for my dad later today, and I have just realized how very grateful I am that my dad never used the word “screw” outside of a context involving “hand me a nut for this screw,” or “hand me that screwdriver.”

Presidential timber? Not even presidential kindling.
